DIATF Certification Programme
Helping you meet all the requirements of the UK government's
Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (DIATF)
Why certification matters - and why choose Kantara's UK certification programme
Kantara Initiative leads the field in digital identity assurance, offering a unique and versatile approach to trust framework certification since 2014.
Certification is essential if a framework is to secure trust across all stakeholder groups. The best way of doing this in our industry is by creating a standard approach so that organisations procuring identity services can feel confident in their choice of products or technologies.
In 2022, the Department of Science Innovation & Technology selected Kantara Initiative along with 4 other certification bodies (CBs) to managage an independent and consistent assessment process as part of the UK Certification Programme.
In the US, our Trust Marks are the only ones recognised by the US General Services Administration and other federal agencies for approval of credential services that meet the National Institute for Standards & Technology (NIST) Digital Identity Guidelines. (See Special Publication 800-63.)
Our auditors are dedicated specialists in cybersecurity, privacy and digital identity. They are highly qualified in trust framework audits across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.
A Kantara Trust Mark or certificate is recognised globally. It demonstrates that your product doesn’t just meet regulatory requirements – it has been tested against the industry’s very best practices!
